In our era, technology has infiltrated every aspect of our daily lives, including the upbringing of our children. Smart devices and the internet have transcended their roles as mere tools for entertainment and communication, becoming an integral part of our educational, nurturing, and living systems.

Regarding the positive aspects of technology, when used correctly and appropriately, it can be a powerful tool to enhance education and learning. Educational applications and online platforms offer interactive and enjoyable ways for children to learn new skills and acquire knowledge.

Technology can also enhance communication between parents and children, especially in families living in different countries or those with busy schedules due to life circumstances. Each person has their unique situation.

However, we cannot deny the negative aspects of using technology in child-rearing. Excessive use of devices can lead to technological addiction, affecting children’s social and emotional development. Additionally, there are risks related to digital safety and children’s privacy on the internet and social media, which parents must be aware of and monitor.

Let’s discuss the strategy of balance, which might be the middle ground between the negative and positive aspects. To face many challenges, it is essential for parents to adopt a balance strategy in using technology, establish simple rules for device usage, and follow safe and non-hazardous methods.
