Success stories are a living proof that the path to success has never been paved with roses, but rather filled with obstacles and pitfalls that can only be overcome with the determination and perseverance that are born within individuals as a result of the challenges that push them to complete their journey and achieve their goals.

The Power of Determination: Fatima’s Success Story in Returning to Education

“Fatima Spagh,” a woman from Idlib, decided to become a symbol of determination for success by overcoming the obstacles that kept her away from education for many years. With stronger determination, she returned to the right path among her high-achieving peers.

Fatima took a ten-year break from education, focusing on raising her children and taking care of her home. However, she always felt a deep longing whenever the results of the secondary school certificate were announced. She dreamed of having her name among the successful, despite her absence from school.

Finally, Fatima made up her mind and firmly resolved, after hearing about the Masarat Initiative, to return to education, obtain the secondary school certificate, and enter university. With the determination of a dedicated student, the support of caring family members, and the assistance of the exceptional initiative, Fatima succeeded in achieving her goal. She obtained the certificate and enrolled in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in English language. Thus, she elevated herself to the ranks of productive individuals who play a role in building society.

A Fresh Start: Success Stories in Distance Learning – Mahand and His Wife

Fatima was not alone in realizing her dream. Mahand Qeirat and his wife are among the success stories of Masarat’s students who managed to take a significant step forward with the support and encouragement of the initiative.

Mahand faced a challenging task as he had been away from education for eleven years, busy providing for his family. The obstacles of re-entry seemed insurmountable, but online learning made the task somewhat easier and motivated him and his wife to return to studying in the ninth grade.

Mahand and his wife joined the initiative’s students, fought together, and successfully obtained the General Education Certificate. They are now preparing to obtain the Secondary School Certificate. They gained a doubled self-confidence after overcoming the toughest barrier: the barrier of re-entry. They now seriously contemplate realizing their deferred dreams, which were folded under the dust of daily life’s challenges.

The examples of students who joined Masarat and succeeded in their educational journeys have enhanced the confidence of others. They have encouraged them to consider embarking on the experience at the first opportunity that arises.
