Campaign to Educate Disabled Students

In harnessing the great goodness of the blessed days of Ramadan, the Masaarat initiative launched a campaign to support the education of individuals with special needs in Syria, who face harsh obstacles that deprive them of education, prevent them from accessing schools, thereby limiting their potential for future success and achievement, and feeling that they are receiving their natural rights like anyone else who can develop and integrate into society.

Your contribution to this campaign during Ramadan, the month of mercy and benevolence, will be instrumental in planting the seeds of their future success and integration into society. It will equip them with the skills and knowledge that provide them with fair opportunities, regardless of their physical abilities, for which they bear no fault.

More than 10,000 disabled students face educational challenges in Syria, including children suffering from congenital defects and war injuries, living in camps far from schools, and lacking the necessary support to continue their education.

Through this campaign, we aim to reach them in their tents and homes and use digital technology to:

  • Provide them with free, safe, and comfortable education.
  • Empower them with knowledge and skills that enhance their personalities.
  • Break the chains of their isolation through an inclusive and stimulating educational environment.
  • Support them to become active and contributing members of their communities.

Regular reports show you the impact of your generosity on the lives of people with determination.

Updates through which you can see how your contribution is being used to build human potential, both skillfully and knowledgeably.

You will follow success stories that showcase your mark in creating educated individuals, fueling the construction of a better future.

“The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people, and the most beloved of deeds to Allah is happiness you bring to a Muslim.”

Every contribution from you will help them attain one of their most important rights, the right to education and knowledge, to which Islam has directed us from the beginning. Your contribution will also be a cause of their happiness and joy, which they will achieve through their successes and accomplishments.

Fatima… A Strong Will Breaking Barriers and Returning to Education

Fatima, a young student with an unbreakable spirit, faced over 10 years of interrupted education due to war and the challenges of her disability. But she never gave up. She kept searching for an opportunity until she found the Masarat Initiative, which transformed her life, dreams, and vision for the future.

With determination, Fatima decided to resume her studies. Through Masarat, she not only regained access to school education but also developed her personality through student activities and discovered her interests and passions through academic guidance. Despite the major challenges she faced and the doubts of those who questioned her ability to learn after such a long hiatus, she persevered and succeeded.

Thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted donors like you, Fatima was able to continue her educational journey. When the moment of results announcement arrived, she realized that her dreams had become a reality. Every hardship, every sleepless night, was worth it. She, her supportive family, and all of us have every reason to be proud of her achievement.

This Ramadan, you can support many students like Fatima—individuals of determination with strong willpower and unwavering resilience. All they need is your support and helping hands to guide them through their educational journey. Every contribution to the Education for People of Determination Campaign will strengthen their resolve, encourage them to keep striving, and empower them to leave their mark despite all the obstacles and challenges.
