Educate Students With Disabilities in Syria

pict large 1

In Syria, over 10,000 children with physical disabilities face educational challenges. Already burdened by the birth defects and war injuries, living in makeshift camps far from schools, they lack the necessary support and resources to continue their studies. Our goal is to extend a helping hand to these students, enabling them to receive quality education and thrive in society. With your support, we can empower many students with physical challenges. Help them learn and grow.

Why them?

Children with disabilities face many hurdles, including access to schools, financial constraints, the necessity of having a companion to ensure their safety, and the sharp increase in affected persons during the war. These challenges have resulted constraining their prospects for future success by disrupting their education. Moreover, the lack of adequate resources makes it challenging for them to engage in the learning process, hindering their development and integration into society

How can we help?

Through Masarat’s online educational platform, we will reach them in their homes, providing education and support, no matter how distant they are. We will help them break out of their social isolation by providing a secure interactive environment for them through Microsoft Teams, so they can receive education through our school education, student activities, academic advising, and vocational training programs. By leveraging technology, we make it safer and more convenient for them.

Long-term impact

By empowering these individuals through education, you are sowing the seeds for their future success and integration into society. With the skills and knowledge, they acquire, children with physical challenges can break free from isolation. Moreover, by fostering an inclusive learning environment, we are not merely transforming their lives, but also providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of physical abilities. Becoming active and engaged members of their communities.

Every flicker of hope, every dream that takes flight, every ambition that refuses to be dimmed is a testament to the power of human spirit. And in this tapestry of resilience and determination, your donations have woven golden threads.

A student named Ahmed walks with a prosthesis, a stark reminder of that fateful day 12 years ago when his school was bombed, forcing him to flee his home, the horrors of war stealing one of his legs. Yet, even in the face of such adversity, he never let despair darken his path. Armed with a pen and fueled by sheer determination, he continued his educational journey, hoping to rewrite his sorrowful narrative and envision a brighter, more promising future.

Students with disabilities require consistent attention, unwavering support, and constant encouragement. Without this, they might feel alienated from their community, like outsiders looking in. But thanks to your contributions, they are continuously evolving for the better. Your generosity is not merely a donation; it’s a lifeline. With your continued support, you have the power to pull them from the shadows of an uncertain life and guide them towards a future shimmering with potential.

So, let’s cherish this moment, not just as a mere communication, but as an emotional beacon, highlighting the profound impact of your kindness. Every success story, every triumphant narrative, is a testament to your belief in the power of education and human resilience.

When we talk about impact and change, stories of our students clearly demonstrate the power of your support and trust in our project.

Meet Abdullah, a 15-year-old boy with special needs, born into a world where opportunities were scarce for him, especially after losing his father. Despite life’s challenges being tough on him, he managed to defy his circumstances and overcome obstacles, all thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted individuals like you!

Abdullah couldn’t attend school like his peers, but with your support, educational pathways became accessible to him from the comfort of his home, within the embrace of his family.

Abdullah, who started his journey with us at the beginning of last year, is now ending the school year with great success. Every time we look at Abdullah’s story, we’re reminded of the profound impact of your support. With each donation you make, you bring forth new success stories and fulfill the dreams of many children. Thank you for being a part of this success. We hope your support and trust in us will continue.
